Troubleshooting
My earphones will not switch on
Solution:
- Ensure the earphones have been fully charged before use
My earphones will not charge
Solution:
- Ensure contact strips have been removed from the charging pins
- Ensure that the adapter is powered on
- Ensure that the earphones are sitting in the charging case correctly
- Ensure the USB cable is functioning correctly and/or test the earphones with a different USB cable
- Ensure the power adapter that does not exceed 5V⎓2A
My earphones will not connect to my device
Solution:
- Ensure your device is compatible with Bluetooth v5.0 and later
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earphones are in pairing mode
- Ensure the earphones are disconnected from any previous devices
My earphones will not connect to each other
Solution:
- Ensure that the earphones connect to each other, before then connecting to your device. If this stage has been skipped, ‘forget’ the earphones from Bluetooth settings and restart the pairing process
- Ensure both earphones are removed from the case simultaneously and enter pairing mode
My earphones have no volume/audio
Solution:
- Ensure the volume is turned up on your device and audio is playing
How do I reconnect my earphones back to each other?
Solution:
- Ensure the STIX headphones are not connected to a device. If they have previously been paired, ‘forget’ the earphones in Bluetooth settings
- Remove the Stix earphones from the case
- Simultaneously press and hold the touchpad on both earphones for approximately 3 seconds, the LED’s will flash before switching off
- Then, simultaneously press and hold the touchpad on both earphones again for approximately 5 seconds, the LED’s should flash before turning solid white
- Double-tap the touchpad on both earphones at the same time, the right earphone LED will flash white and orange to indicate pairing has been successful
- Return the earphones to the charging case
Do the STIX have noise cancelation?
Solution: Our STIX 2 earbuds do not have active noise cancelling. However, they are noise isolating.
